Affiliate Summit Video Footage
Friday
Feb 29, 2008
Here’s six or so minutes of random footage I took with my Flip camera at the Affiliate Summit event earlier this week. Some good stuff in here. Like…
- Gary V (the wine guy) buying a domain name at the Moniker domain auction.
- Sam Harrelson swearing on camera.
- Stephanie Agresta pitching some social booking, as usual :)
- A few of us drinking Mickey’s Big Mouth beer. Horrible.
- People riding the Segway.
- Other assorted and random clips too.
Want to see more people riding the Segway? Check this vid out. Why don’t you see me on it? Because I tried to get on and almost wiped out big time. That thing isn’t built for big people. At least no one had their video camera running.

Jason Calacanis Affiliate Summit Keynote Footage
Thursday
Feb 28, 2008
Right after I introduced Jason I sat down and pulled out my Flip cam and took a little footage. Here it is. Just a few minutes long. I know the official footage of the keynote will come from the Affiliate Summit gang in a few weeks, including my intro hopefully.
Want to listen for now? They have the mp3 of the keynote available here. Do a search on Technorati for more blog posts about the event.

Affiliate Summit Survival Guide Video
Thursday
Feb 28, 2008
Just getting back on track after a long trip to Vegas for the Affiliate Summit. I was the emcee of the event. Normally, I’d just blog my experience, but I’m only doing videos now, so you’ll have to wait until next week to hear what I have to say in video form.
For now, here’s a video of the opening reminders that I produced and showed to the room of about 1,000 people Monday morning… right before I introduced Jason Calacanis. Hopefully somebody has that video as well so I can put that up. The point of this video was to wake up the crowd and get a few reminders thrown in, plus to make sure that everyone knows this is a fun event. Enjoy.
If you were there… did you like this better than someone up there saying “Good morning…” all boring and all?

Online Video, Quality Of Content Is Most Important
Friday
Feb 22, 2008
When producing online videos, remember that it’s not the quality of the video you’re producing, but rather, the quality of the content you’re producing. Your viewers care about one thing, and that is getting helpful or fun information from your videos.
Stop worrying about the equipment you need or don’t need to make good videos, and start thinking about what your viewers expect, which is good quality information, regardless of video quality. Then start making videos!

Three Questions For Shoemoney
Wednesday
Feb 20, 2008
These making money online guys are everywhere. I’ve already done a video about Zac Johnson. Now, today, I’ve got an interview with Jeremy Shoemaker, aka, Shoemoney. Shoemoney is known as one of the biggest “making money online” guys, primarily I believe, because of his success with ringtones.
Why interview Jeremy? Well, as you’ll see, I didn’t ask him the same questions he gets from everyone. Ok, one of them is, but the other two are not asking him about how he got rich. The questions are…
1. How did you get the nickname Shoemoney?
2. What’s your #1 success tip for making money online?
3. Are you evil?

Personal Branding Tips - Guylights
Saturday
Feb 16, 2008
I’ve been working in the affiliate space for years now. And somehow, I’ve become known in my circles as the dude who gets “guylights” put in for every trade show. Ok, I’m personally responsible for that idea… The point is, I’ve done it purposely. I get them put in on purpose. Why? It’s a good branding thing for me. People recognize me as the dude who gets his hair highlighted. It’s kind of a funny joke. And it works, well.
You wouldn’t believe how many people come up to me at shows I attend and comment on my blond “guylights” and how they like them. My “customers” are identifying with my brand that I have worked to build. What do YOU do to differentiate your personal brand from everyone else? How do you stand out?
Here’s a short little video about my impending guylights and a few quick personal branding tips to boot. See you in Vegas.

YouTube Porn?
Thursday
Feb 14, 2008
Happy Valentines Day. Here’s some porn for you and your sweetie! Well, not really. Here’s a video I did that talks about porn on YouTube. I get a lot of traffic to this blog from people searching for porn on YouTube since I did this post a while back.
So obviously I had to do the research. Is there porn on YouTube? Their terms state that there’s not supposed to be. But if you look at some of the samples in the video below, well, you decide, is that porn or not? I’ll let you be the judge. Obviously, YouTube doesn’t seem to think so. Enjoy.

happy valentines day everyone.
Last year I wrote a few posts about all of the questionable content I was finding
on Youtube. You know what I"m talking about… porn
How did I find that content you ask?
Um…
What’s funny is that a crapload of my traffic on jimkukral.com since that time
comes from people searching for porn on youtube. So it’s pretty clear to me
that people like porn.
Newsflash!
What’s also clear is that people want to watch porn on YouTube, because darnit,
they’re searching for it and ending up on my blog.
Even though technically it’s not really porn, it’s "questionable content".
Youtube’s policies clearly state that you can’t upload porn.
The question I have though is… where’s the line drawn. What’s porn, and what
isn’t?
I’ll leave that debate for the scientists.
I get so much traffic from youtube porn searches I might have to start putting
adult ads on my website just to capatilize on the traffic.
But alas, there’s no porn on my blog and there probably will never be. So all
of these people are searching on Google for porn on youtube and Imagine the
disspointment they must feel when they see my face after the click.
Sorry porn peeps!
So because today is valentine’s day, I’ve decided that more "research"
needs to be done on this topic, so here’s some youtube porn, um, i mean "questionable"
content. Enjoy it with your sweetie.
Not safe for kids. Although, YouTube seems to be ok with it.
