		<description>I agree, I can&#039;t believe how bad blog search is.  I find it amazing how bad Google&#039;s is.  And then how bad it stays.  And how Ask, Yahoo, MSN don&#039;t take advantage of this.  Technorati for all there problems is still the best in my opinion.   And as bad as Google&#039;s is I think they are next best.  I wish somebody would do it well.  I am perfectly happy if that would be Icerocket but they have not impressed me so far.  I did look at it again just now and it seems better but still not great - still I will try it more...</description>

We launched a new design last week. Just simply added some top video and movie stuff to the homepage(our users search a lot of movies/vids). Felt like time for a new look and feel b/c we had not made any change to the look ever. 

I like Mark&#039;s idea about the vertical blog search, that could be very useful to people that search specific categories. 

We really are trying to combat the splogs. I think we will probably just stop accepting new blogspot blogs this week(for the time being), something we have had to do in the past. 

I look forward to speaking with you about ways to better the blog search space.
