Check out my thoughts on Ezinearticles.com. Easily the #1 player in this space. Watch my video below for the super secret to doing article marketing right. Here’s a sample of one of my recent articles.

  • Great video Jim!
  • Good advice, Jim. I've been marketing with articles for nearly 4 years now. EzineArticles remains the #1 article directory out there followed by Buzzle.com and a few others.

I have several hundred articles out there. They've generated thousands of leads, brought in loads of adsense income through mini-sites etc.

To promote an authoritative site they aren't going to do you much good. They'll drive a little traffic, but they're best for lead generation and promoting small, mini-sites.
  • Good points Josh.
  • We have found ezinearticles.com to be quite effective in the promotion of our advertising specialties business. My wife and I have been posting for a few months now, and neither of us have put up that many (25-30) articles, but we have already seen traffic from the articles and they have been picked up by other article sites.

I'm curious to see what putting out a high number of articles in a compressed time will do for you. I'm also interested to see if you have any techniques for cutting through the clutter of the other sites and getting articles noticed.
  • Great video, (I've subscribed by the way.)
I really like the laid back professionalism. (A bit like Joel Comm).

I've just proved to myself the power of writing articles for my own blog.
Used to post once in a blue moon. The last couple of days I've gone to town,
only to find it now showing up all over the place on page ones of Google.

So now I'm going to do a series for Ezinearticles.com and see how it compares.

    Feeling optimistic.

    Pete.
  • Thanks a bunch. Let us know how it goes. Remember, you have to write at least 25 articles a month to truly see the effect.
  • Great and extremely timely video, for me, Jim! I'm so glad you're picking up on my wavelength! ;)

Your hair looks nice - I like it darker. :)
  • Thanks!
  • Look forward to your 30 day follow up post. I posted on your "article marketing experiment" over at Groovy Entrepreneur, plus i registered yesterday with EzineArticles. I see it is really a serious community of publishers, the management behind the site, is doing a solid job of putting out quality articles from citizen writers.

I 've been hearing alot on article marketing, and have been meaning to try it. Thanks for the push!
  • Thanks so much for the news I needed RIGHT now!
  • Jim, you're so right. EA is the place to go if you want to get tons of free traffic to your site. In fact, I just published a new (free) report on the subject of writing profitable artcles. You can download it from: http://www.articlequickstartguide.com
  • Thanks for the post! Some article e-marketers warn that posting identical material across various sites can actually harm seo...It really pays to post original content, erather than cut an paste.
