Failure – An Entrepreneur’s Journey

Failure can be a good thing. In fact, failure can be a great thing! In life, and in business, failure is a very important part of the learning process. Everyone fails, it’s inevitable.

The question for you as an entrepreneur is are you going to get back up on the horse and try again and do it better, or are you going to give up? Many people try once and fail and get scared into not trying again. Personally, every time something happens that fails in my world, I try again, and again until I get it right. Watch this video to get a few more insights, and hopefully a little inspiration for you about failure and how it can help you. I reference Mark Cuban in this video.

Business Around A Lifestyle

The world changed on 9/11 in so many different ways. Since that day, there has been a major shift happening in the way people think and live their lives. Sure, many people still chase the dollar as their ultimate goal. However, many more people have begun to realize that the world could, well, end tomorrow.

That's why people are choosing to pursue a business around a lifestyle, instead of a lifestyle controlled by their business. It makes sense, right? If the world was going to end tomorrow, would you still try to live your life in a way you never wanted to?

Take a look around you and you'll see that this shift to becoming a lifestyle entrepreneur is being adopted by more and more people every day. Some of those people are falling into it because they have been laid off from their jobs and are literally forced into it. Some of those people just figure out a way to make it happen because of the "end of the world" thinking mentioned above.

Nice video Jim, though I did feel mislead because of your title.

Expect a cease and desist notice in the mail soon for infringing on my copyright ;-)

Hey Yaro, thanks for stopping by. Wow, you know, I swear I didn’t think of your site when I wrote that. Only now did I realize I did that. I must have had it in the back of my head. Folks, head over to Yaro’s site for some excellent content. One of the best out there. I can change the title Yaro if you want me to.

@Wess, that is AWESOME! Thanks. My personal favorites is http://www.zombo.com.

Hey Jim – great video and the perfect message I needed to hear today, after speaking with my other half about why I’ve been studying internet marketing for five years and I’ve not really ‘made it’ yet. I feel much better now – thank you!

    Getting back on that horse!!!

Oh, my first shot at doing videos might just interest your daughter! Well, the first one might be too young for her – but, keep an eye on Bookworm Broadcast – I’ll try to do one for her age group next.

Yeah I have dabbled in video a bit Jim, though mostly for my members.

I have a few talking heads floating around, but nothing to flashy, no music or backgrounds etc.

I did just launch http://www.becomeablogger.com which is all videos, but I had a friend create them.

It’s definitely something you have to get into nowadays just to stay up to date.

I think it is great how you give everyone the opportunity to have their own say, literally! But do you get some awful ones? As in abusive or irrelevant or obscene?
