Jim, You bring up some interesting thoughts on copying or watching your competition. Yes, BK puts their fast food restaurant next to or across from Mcds'.
But...Burger King has never really come close to the revenue figures or the incredible operational and marketing systems that Mcd's has in place.
The folks from the Windy City {Mcd's HQ's} are always better, faster, and more successful.
In my franchise matchmaking and consulting business I am always watching industry trends and competitors.
I may borrow an offshoot of an idea, but find that being the innovator is sometimes fun and quite successful also.
Nice job on all of your web marketing blogs and ideas!

Hi Jim,

Thanks for the kind words and, of course, the exposure!

However, your link to wagerank is currently pointing at the comment you made. Could you please fix this as to not confuse your readers and to help my rankings? ;)

Thanks,
cdc
