Fun, Do You Have It At Work & In Life?

Hate your job? Dread going to work every day? If so, you’re not having fun.

Do you have fun in life and in your work? I do, every… single… day. I make “fun” a priority. Look at the projects I work on (AwesomeMillion.com, BigBrownBox.com, TwitterMeThis.com, to name a few). Most of them are built around fun first. It’s by design, believe me. Life is too short to work on stuff that isn’t fun.

YOU CAN DO IT! YOU CAN HAVE FUN AND EARN A LIVING IF DONE RIGHT! Right now, get a piece of paper and write down what would be fun to do every day. Then the plan is to figure out how to do it.

It can be done. I’m doing it. I start every project with fun as the first factor. You should try it. Watch the video below for some inspiration. Want to share you video about your fun project? Send it over to me, or leave a comment below.

Jim, great point about passion vs. fun. The word passion is so overused anymore it doesn’t even mean anything to most people. But fun will always mean FUN.

    Hey Tom, go for it!

@remarkablogger. I know, you’re right. I have to stop saying passion as well and just stick with fun.

@doc, you talkin’ to me? :)

@Tony K, yeah, I have a little flip tripod and I put the whole thing on top of some glass block to make it eye level. Get on at http://www.buytheflip.com

In order to be able to have fun, I believe we should pick the job that suit with our preferences to begin with. We can’t and shouldn’t lie to ourselves about the things we like and don’t like about the job. One should explore her own values about the job so she can find her fun life at work.

The thing is; to be able to have fun, one have to be creative and extrovert. Because FUN is just too difficult sometimes to be implemented by some people. It might because of the corporate culture (well ,mostly its because of it , anyway) or some other factor such as the basic temparements of the person. If one want to learn to have one, she might need to be someone she is not, at the beginning.
