I’m A Football Fanatic! Do You Create Fans?

I am. That’s why it’s sad for me this time of year when the Superbowl is about to happen. That means football is over! Stinks. Plus, my Cleveland Browns never play into the postseason. I’m not much of a hockey, baseball or basketball fan either. Although, I will watch King Lebron and my Cavs hopefully roll to a championship, no jinx!

Earlier this month I was in Las Vegas emceeing the Affiliate Summit event and I was lucky enough to get invited to a poker tournament by Jason from a company called Football Fanatics. Here’s a pic of me at the poker table. And below that, a video of me after I got crushed at the table.

The reason for this post is to talk about being a fan. Jason and Football Fanatics made me a fan by inviting me to join their poker tournament and by having great products. Do you create fans for your product/service/brand? You should be.

Business Around A Lifestyle

The world changed on 9/11 in so many different ways. Since that day, there has been a major shift happening in the way people think and live their lives. Sure, many people still chase the dollar as their ultimate goal. However, many more people have begun to realize that the world could, well, end tomorrow.

That's why people are choosing to pursue a business around a lifestyle, instead of a lifestyle controlled by their business. It makes sense, right? If the world was going to end tomorrow, would you still try to live your life in a way you never wanted to?

Take a look around you and you'll see that this shift to becoming a lifestyle entrepreneur is being adopted by more and more people every day. Some of those people are falling into it because they have been laid off from their jobs and are literally forced into it. Some of those people just figure out a way to make it happen because of the "end of the world" thinking mentioned above.

I used to meet a lot of fans from your area and I know there are a lot of Steeler fans in your area and they can never obtain STEELER season tickets, but if you are interested for the 2010 season, I have three (3) seats together and I am willing to sell them,2 exhibition games and 8 regular season games for just a total of $3500. If the Steelers make the playoffs, the buyer will have the ability to purchase the same three seats. If interested, contact me via e-mail at : rays1940@yahoo.com.
