What’s the number one question I get from people when I tell them they MUST be on Linkedin? (click to connect with me). They ask me, “Ok, Jim… Why?”.
Well, the answers are pretty simple once you realize the power of Linkedin, and the good news is Lewis Howes has just released his new book on that exact subject!

The even better news is you can win an autographed copy of the book signed by Lewis and co-author Frank, handed directly to me at a Linkedin networking event.
Want it? Here’s how to get it.
1. Connect with me on Linkedin
2. Leave a comment below on this post with your linked in profile link
I’ll pick a winner next week and ship the book to you. USA only please. And if you don’t win, buy the book. I’ll post up a video review soon.

Hey Jim, I love your blog. The catalyst for this particular comment is your book offer.

Hi Jim! Would love a copy of the book to share with my colleagues. I'm in legal marketing and can always use new ideas to help convince attorneys what a great network LinkedIn is/can be.
Thanks!

Love the shirt Jim! Certainly don't need a name tag on with that shirt! Already following you on Twitter and we are already Linkedin on Linkedin….I promise, I'm not a stalker. Just trying to get all the info I can on social marketing for my clients. Thanks for the fun games! Loved the Billy Mayes videos you tweeted about last week.
A bit of interesting information concerning LinkedIn – my husband goes to school online through DeVry to get his bachelors in technical project management. One of the career development classes he had to take recently heavily promoted LinkedIn and even had assignments based on it to get students into using it. I thought that was a great move on the part of whomever put that curriculum together.
My hubby is really not a social media kind of guy – heck he only has a MySpace because I made one for him like 3 years ago lol – but he really took to LinkedIn and immediately saw the value – for him he's mostly doing a bit of pre-graduation networking with other project management professionals before entering that field full time.
So, about the contest… Jim, we're already connected on LinkedIn, but here's my profile anyway: <a href=”http://www.linkedin.com/in/trishalyn” target=”_blank”>http://www.linkedin.com/in/trishalyn

Hey Jim,
I thought I knew all of the benefits of LinkedIn but didn't realize there was a whole book's worth. I'd love to learn more through the book. My LinkedIn profile is here: http://www.linkedin.com/in/gyutae
Great post- I have used LinkedIn for a long time now and have made several connections with it. You can really network yourself by using it correctly.
I've used LinkedIn in a number of ways, but I've always considered it a "starter network" where if you're really wanting to build activity, or connections (legitimately, in that the people know you), I've felt facebook was a better tool (or twitter). Does this book touch much on that?

Which one is Jim? Just kidding…I guess I need to get off facebook and take a closer look at LinkedIn
Hi Jim,
Thank you for the offer to connect with you on linkedIn and your contest.
I have been on LinkedIn for a long time, and it's a great way to find your peers, share what you are doing, and using the 'LinkedIn Jobs Toolbar' will notify you of recommended opportunities at your contacts companies!

Blog on!
Congrats on winning!
Hi Jim! I came over through your email subscription. I would love to see what I can do with my Linkedin account. I made one a while back but I don't do anything with it because I don't know what to do or its potential. I appreciate the chance for the book to see what I might so to better use the resource.
