The Wife Asked Me To Shave

I love my wife, so the beard experiment comes to a close. My first beard ever. How sad. It had a good run, but alas, it had to go. Here’s a short film I put together of me before and after the “bearcectomy”.

On a personal branding note. I think having a consistent look is smart. But… you can change it up from time to time to keep things fresh. I will now, however, have a lot of photos and videos of me with the beard, creating an inconsistency in my presence online. However, I don’t think that’s such a big deal. Change is good! Try it!

hahaha...how funny! my hubby loves to change up his facial hair. this past winter, after a long bout with a very thick beard he embarked on the 5-day shaving adventure. you can see his progression in my flickr account.

I think you might want to try out one or two of those options Jim; just for fun ;)

  • Pretty funny Z. Why didn't you let him stick with the Burt Reynolds? :)

My personal fave was the handlebars :)
  • Now about those mandals... maybe the wife could deliver an edict there, too.
  • She's not touching my mandals. I draw the line someplace!
  • Bye bye beard!
  • Dude -- talk about an inconsistent look... 5 hair styles in 5 years and now a completely different color. We just finished choosing the images for FeedFront and to see me with different color hair in the same issue is just...weird.
  • Yes, Missy, but you're a pretty girl. :) So you're allowed to mix it up. Ugly boys like myself have to stick with what works. You look great in all your looks. I say that in the utmost non-creepiest way possible, lol.

Can't wait to see the new hair color in person in Boston.
