Ukulele Lessons Part 3 – Learning Via YouTube

Make money teaching a class at Prfessor.com

Here’s part three in my Ukulele lessons video series. I’m actually getting to be “good”. I know good is a relative term hence the quotes. What I mean is I can actually play some chords now. It’s fun.

I’m finding how amazingly possible it is to learn how to do anything via YouTube video and google searches. Really, even learning how to “play the ukulele” can be done using the Internets. We live in an amazing world. This would never have been possible before the web.

  • Yep, that's my point! There are Youtube videos explaining how to do so many things. Powerful learning.
  • I never saw Tiny Tim or Julia Nunes use a poker chip. ;)

Nice job. I'm thinking of trying to learn basic guitar. If only just enough to play some songs for my kids and give them some exposure.
  • I am trying ukulele because it seems easier. 4 strings... smaller, just seems easier. I'm getting a pick this week. No more poker chip.
  • Can I put in a request for Neil Young's "Roll Another Number for the Road"?
  • I'm going with Old man first.
