My definition: A landing page specifically designed to incorporate a user created, embedded, video.

The insurance guy linked below was the first person I saw take YouTube video and use it intelligently. He takes videos that show car crashes, people injurying themselves, etc. and embeds them around a frame that says “Got Mitchell?” While the tagline isn’t all that original, the use of the vdeo was.
…at least until a national insurance agency started mimicking the same concept in their “better ways to spend 15 minutes online tv campaign — but I think this guy did it FIRST.

I was researching the use of video for my company's landing pages, and I stumbled across your blog. You asked for examples, so here is one I can provide. I think they do a good job. You can find an example of a clean landing page that shows a "click to view video" here: http://www.pccd.net/services/implants.html. Sometimes it can be hard to incorporate the video into an existing layout, I think this provides a solution.

This one just sold me, together with the fact that the service is free.
Even though hard-sells are mostly recommended to play upon open, I think this one is inviting and with a play button that's so in your face that you can't think of anything else to do when you first reach the page but to click on that video screen. Plus, a good job of how it's just a simple video of an instructor explaining the course – you don't need anything fancy.
