I’m a domain junkie. I own over 100 domains, and I buy about 3 per week on average. But that’s nothing compared to this guy, Kevin Ham, who has a portfolio of domains valued in the millions upon millions. $300 million to be exact.
This is a very interesting, yet long, read. If you’re into domains, you’ll enjoy this.
A personal flashback. I remember sitting around with my friend Jeno back in 1997 thinking together… “What domains could be buy? What will be worth anything?” We were stupid. We were smack dab in the middle of the business before most were aware of it all, and we couldn’t think of stuff like Paper.com, or Cars.com, or Music.com. I mean, c’mon, a bunch of those and similar names were available.
